Astera AsteraBox ART7 and its successor AsteraBox WIFI serve as interfaces between lights and controllers.
The AsteraBox ART7 functions as a Bluetooth Bridge that connects lights with phones or tablets and enables AsteraApp control. Thanks to the built-in battery, it can be carried around to ensure that it stays close to your handheld device. While the classic AsteraBox connects via Bluetooth, the newer version also supports Wifi when connecting box to phone or tablet.
In addition, both AsteraBox ART7 models can be used as wireless DMX transmitters using LumenRadio’s industry-leading CRMX technology. This way you can control Astera lights as well as other CRMX-enabled lights from a DMX controller.

• App Control
Use the AsteraBox as Bluetooth Bridge – the interface between AsteraApp and lights. Once connected, this enables control, monitoring, and setup of the lights. With Astera’s Talkback+ feature, lights can talk back to the AsteraApp, these commands are automatically forwarded by the AsteraBox.
• Wireless DMX Transmitter
Connect the AsteraBox to your DMX console via the included DMX Adapter Cable to transmit wireless DMX data to your lights. We have included a CRMX module from LumenRadio which enables you to communicate to all lights with built-in CRMX module. The AsteraBox can also be set as a DMX receiver if needed.
