Astera Runtime Extender REX1-VM is a battery plate to connect standard camera
batteries to many Astera lights. This enables you to extend your production and work without worries when shooting films or lighting events. The RuntimeExtender supports a wide range of Astera products.

Mounting & Connecting The RuntimeExtenders:
• HexConnect
HexConnect is a special bolt for mounting RuntimeExtender via SuperClamps and GripHeads. The hexagon shape ensures that the bolt will not untie itself. HexConnect can be inserted via the RuntimeExtender's Airline Track.
• Airline Track
Astera has integrated an AirlineTrack into most light released since 2020. This is Astera's newer generation AirlineTrack which they introduced with the PixelBrick, so a wide varaity of grips can be inserted.
• Back-to-back
Connect 2 RuntimeExtenders with 2 batteries back-to-back and mount them with only one Super Clamp wherever needed.
