With the Astera Accessory Kit FP7-ACCCSE-KIT you get LunaReflectors for a more directional punch, LunaLenses for a slightly diffused texture, LunaDiffusors for a direct-view dome look, LunaSnoots to increase the contrast, or LunaShades to selectively block or texturize the beam. With the LunaBulb Accessory Kit, you turn your LED practicals into precise, fully contrallable luminaires.

All accessories by your side
The LunaBulb Accessory Kit adds extra versatility, output and control. It includes four LunaReflector, a click-on attachment for LunaBulb’s slim look that increases the output and reduces the beam angle. It allows for a naked look, a diffuse PAR-like look via LunaLens, or a NYX Bulb look via the LunaDiffusor.

LunaReflector
Create a punchier and narrower beam by quickly attaching the LunaReflector to the LunaBulb in its slim look. Thanks to the inner reflective surface, LunaReflector is essential for those who want to transform LunaBulb into a directional and harder luminaire.

LunaDiffusor
Working with both LunaBulb and NYX Bulb in your next design? Attach the LunaDiffusor to the LunaReflector for a convincing NYX Bulb emulation. A simple solution to maximize your existing Astera inventory or to give LunaBulb a new "dome-like" look.

LunaLens
The best fit for a spotlight look in your LunaBulb. Easily attachable to the LunaReflector, the LunaLens softens the light output while keeping the traditional narrow beam angle and external shape of a PAR16 bulb.

LunaSnoot
No glare – just control: add LunaSnoot to the LunaReflector to avoid any stray light disturbances on viewer’s eyes or in the camera’s lens. Its snap-on attaching system allows you to quickly inserting or removing LunaSnoot depending on the desired application.

LunaShade with Blocker
Designed to control the beam in your practicals, the LunaShade with Blocker is James Friend’s innovative solution to block LunaBulb’s incidence on actors, props or walls, while keeping the organic mood of traditional lamps. Easy to mount, rotate and reuse, it avoids the need of tape or wrap.

LunaShade with Diffusor
What if you could not only dim and define the color nuances in your practicals, but also decide which specific areas should be softened? That’s the exact purpose of LunaShade with Diffusor, inspired by James Friend ASC BSC.

LunaShade
Inspired by James Friend, ASC, BSC

It all started with a dinner in Brussels, where Friend and his gaffer Harlon Haveland were shooting with the first LunaBulbs. They explained to the Astera product team about the need of cutting light from certain areas and softening their impact in other areas. This LunaBulb accessory would need to be quick when setting it up, fully rotatable, and with the ability to modulate the light in a 360º range. Inspired by this idea and with a quick sketch drawn by James on a piece of paper, the R&D team created two LunaShades: one to selectively cut the light, and another one to modulate the texture through diffusion.

Shape the coverage
Block the light from the walls while enhancing the skin tones of your talent, add a diffused top hat to each source or play with soft lighting textures in selected areas: all of this and more, is what LunaShades allow in a clean, easy and fast way. Inspired by James Friend ASC BSC, each LunaBulb Accessory Kit comes with two LunaShade with blocker and two LunaShade with Diffusor.

Add more punch
The LunaReflector is an advanced optical device equipped with an inner reflective surface. It is specifically designed to increase the light output of your LunaBulbs while narrowing its beam. To add a PAR-like look and some slight diffusion to the throw, a LunaLens can be added to the system. As a result you get not only a brighter and more directional source, but also a really nice spotlight housing.

Stop the glare
No need for elaborated black wrap or sticky gaffer tape; LunaSnoot will completely kill spill light from your practicals, avoid glare on viewer’s eyes and provide a solid downlight form factor. The LunaSnoot is fully compatible with LunaReflector, LunaLens and LunaDiffusor, so you don’t need to compromise the features to achieve a more convenient look.

Transform your design
When both LunaReflector and LunaDiffusor are mounted together, your LunaBulb becomes a nice-looking LED dome that works perfectly well in combination with NyxBulbs. Furthermore, it is possible to attach the anti-glare LunaSnoot to the system, turning LunaBulb into a bigger decorative light for your events and bar scenes.
